I looked into this house a little more and here are some interesting things I found out! Anne Rice, the author used to own this home, and her character, "Amelia," lived in this house. Also, in case you missed in the description above, the manse has 12 working fireplaces! Before Sotheby's had the listing, it was featured on Curbed NOLA, where you can see the previous pictures were a bit haunting and difficult to see the beautify this home clearly holds.
Now that Dorian has the listing, you can see the natural light, shining floors, grand rooms, and lovely details. Also it should be noted that listing agent, Dorian, has been a realtor to several celebrities who have called Nola home (or one of their homes) including Lenny Kravitz and Jimmy Buffett.
